Sustainability LLC

The Sustainability LLC provides space for students interested in sustainability initiatives and programs on campus to live together with other environmental and climate advocates. The Sustainability LLC will build a community of student leaders who prioritize reducing their environmental impact as stewards of 1940 and campus. They grow skills and knowledge of sustainable practices and establish sustainable habits through peer education and collaboration.

Students have access to a residence-hall sustainability resources such as a community garden on site, action toolkits for Green Living, free and discounted passes for sustainable transportation and volunteer and service learning opportunities around the city. This LLC connects students to the Office of Sustainability to grow and enhance their involvement and leadership on campus via EcoReps, the Office of Sustainability's peer education program.

Requirements

  1. Open to first year students who are interested sustainability, climate action and green living and who are interested in engaging in activities that will enhance the community as well as community projects with the Office of Sustainability.

  2. Open to all majors

  3. In the event a housing assignment was booked in another accommodation, submitting the request for this LLC will allow University Housing and Residential Life to cancel any bookings made previously in order assign you to this LLC.
